PCL or PLA, what is the difference?
The filament determines which pen is suitable for which age. Here is the difference in short.
Melts at a low temperature
The filament softens at around 60 degrees. The casing stays cool, so children can hold the pen themselves.
From 6 years old

This filament is sturdier and results in a harder finish, but the pen gets hotter. Use under supervision.

Both pens use different filament. PCL melts at a low temperature and is therefore suitable for younger children; PLA melts at a higher temperature and is intended for older children.
