What is the difference between PLA and PCL filament?
PCL melts at a low temperature and is therefore suitable for children aged 6 and up. It hardens quickly and the tip of the pen stays relatively cool. PLA melts at a higher temperature, is sturdier and gives a cleaner result, but is intended for pens for ages 14 and up.
Can I use PLA in a PCL pen, or vice versa?
No. The two types work at different temperatures and are not interchangeable. PLA in a PCL pen will not melt properly and can clog the pen. PCL in a PLA pen gets too hot and will leak. Always check which filament belongs to your pen.
Which filament do I need for my Fits4Kids pen?
PCL: 3D Pen Race Kit and 3D Pen Starter Kit Wireless.
PLA: 3D Pen Starter Kit XXL and the Starter Kit S.

Does this filament also fit pens from other brands?
In most cases, yes. Our filaments have the standard diameter of 1.75 mm, so they fit almost every 3D pen that works with 1.75 mm PLA or PCL. Always check what the manufacturer of your pen recommends.
How much filament is in a set?
100 meters in total, divided into 20 colors of 5 meters each. Enough for quite a few projects, and you can keep combining colors as you like.
What is the best way to store filament?
Keep it dry and at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Don't leave loose strands lying around but keep them together so they stay straight and slide smoothly through the pen.
Is the filament safe for children?
Yes. Both types are non-toxic and odorless. However, the same rule applies as with any 3D pen: the tip gets hot, so never point the pen at skin and let young children work under supervision.
What is the delivery time for my order?
If you order on business days before 23:00, you will receive your order in the Netherlands the next business day. For Belgium, please count on 1-2 business days. For other EU countries (including Germany), the delivery time is 2 to 4 business days.
Can I track my order?
As soon as your order has been packed, you will receive a Track & Trace link via email. You can use this to follow your package via the carrier.
Please keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for the code to become active.
What are the shipping costs?
Netherlands: €5,95. Shipping is free on orders over €50.

How can I return a product?
You can easily return your order within 30 days of receipt. Log in to your personal account and request a return there. Returning is completely free. Don't forget to keep your shipping receipt.
When will I get my money back after a return?
As soon as we have received your return, we will refund you as quickly as possible. This will happen within 14 days of cancellation at the latest. We will refund the amount using the same payment method you used, unless you indicate that you would like a different method.
What about the warranty on my product?
You have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on all our products. Does something go wrong during that period that is not caused by improper use? Then we will take care of repair or replacement.
